Can you earn your second chance? mortal awakening...
Condemned humans are given the choice to redeem their lives after they pass – change their beings, through the body of an animal. These humans retain the mind and thinking of a human, but they are given a new identity; a new name, a new past, a new family… everything is changed. Most humans are changed into either a wolf, horse or lion – all animals that survive by working together and understanding each other. Living in the body of those animals, the humans – nicked named ‘Huminals’ - need to prove themselves changed from before they had first arrived in the afterlife. However, the animals of their pride, pack or herd do not know about the ‘Huminals’ living among them. When the humans have indeed changed, they are restored to their original forms… or not. What will you choose? Will you ever get to return to your original human form, or will you remain dwelling with the animals?

Weather It is early Spring. The trees are just beginning to bud, the birds are singing and the sun is peeking out from fading winter clouds. There's a warm, light breeze floating in the air constantly; the temperature hovers around a good sixty or seventy degrees.

This forest is very large. The trees grow very close together, so close that their branches seem to knit a blanket of leaves from above. Spruce or pine trees make up this forest, meaning it is green all year round. However, not much prey dwells here because there isn't a water source within good distance; the nearest lake is over six miles away. Sure, it's a good place to rest, but not to stay.
Star Lake is the only water source within a ten mile range - therefore, it is abundant with life. The small grove surrounding it is vibrant green, mouse dens litter the ground and prey lurks hesitantly in the shadows. The lake had begun to be called Star Lake after a wise wolf noticed the way the stars glimmered perfectly in it. It is big and deep - deep enough for an adult wolf to drown in and too big to swim across.
The run-off from Star Lake is carried about two miles away, to here - simply, The Meadow. About three years ago, it was simply a patch of grass, but now it is abundant with a rainbow of pallid, gentle wildflowers and long buffalo grass. It's like a haven for new mothers and their young, as the grass provides a very excellent cover... meaning this is a great hunting ground.
Quickly, the abundance of the land fades. Everything becomes dead and cracked, and it soon morphed the land into a desert. The ground is cracked and dusty, the plants resembling skeletons, and the animals dead. Many carcasses scatter the lands here, which will be a good food source for a rouge wolf. A few sand-caves can even be found, which provide shelter.
The Mountain Valley is very lush and green. It's nearly surrounded by snow-capped mountains. The grass is stubby but tender and healthy. There are many small pools of cool water that dot around the winding, hilly landscape. Many horses inhabit this spot, as it is very much full of life and provides good resources.
The River Rush is a very thin mountain stream in actuality. It runs directly from the peaks and snakes it's way through the cracks and crevices to make it's way through the Herdlands. The water is almost always very clean and very cold; foals that grow up with this water are very strong and are less likely to get sick! It is the main water source for the Herdlands.
Around the base of the mountains, many caves dwell. They all vary in size; some are big enough for ten horses, while others... just one or two. Most of them are uninhabited, but it is not unlikely to find a bear or doe and her young living in one, so it's common courteous to call out before entering. There is a little patch of grass surrounding the caves, so one could stay here for a few months.
The Plateau is very large and crafted out of smooth mountain stone. It's surface is very smooth and weathered, with very few bumps or ridges. From afar, one could mistake it for some sort of table. The space under the Plateau is very large, very much like a cave, and provides a good deal of shelter. However, it floods in bad weather and is often filled with snow during the winter. In warm months, though, many horses bask under the vast Plateau for shade.
The waterhole is like the center of the Pridelands. Everything happens here! The large, murky lake that is the water hole is often surrounded by all sorts of animals - prey and predator. Being honest, the water itself isn't all that... clean, but it's water, and it's all the water the Pridelands has. In the dry season, the water hole is the only place that doesn't dry up! If it ever did, everything would die.
The Grassland is where most of the grazers live. The grass here is very long and pale yellow in color - just the right shade so that it's hard to be spotted if you're hunting. However, there is no other cover out here besides a few Acacia trees, so if you're spotted... there's really nowhere to run from those angry antelope antlers! Even so, the Grasslands are a main hunting area for most prides.
The rock field is very vague. It is simply an area of spruce, shorter, more unpleasant grass and many boulders, caves, drops and crevices. One might think of it like walking across a mountain range. There are many places to hide and take shelter here, but there is virtually no prey to hunt, and the nearest water is a small stream off the watering hole. But, it does provide excellent shelter.
The savannah is a vast area of short yellow grass, filled mostly with trees and large rocks. There is little shelter, but a lot of shade. Also, there is virtually no grazing, which means no prey. However, there is a river that runs through the savannah that attracts an occasional zebra or antelope. It is not the best spot, but it's better than the worst.
